West Newton, as its name suggests, is the west side of the Town Centre of Newton in Surrey, B.C. The Newton area is essentially divided into two separate sections as the King George Blvd. runs directly through the Town Centre.

West Newton, Surrey, School Information
West Newton schools are administered by the Surrey Public School District. The district offers education to students of the area from kindergarten through grade eight at their elementary locations and grade nine through twelve at the secondary schools.
Colebrook Elementary, Pinewood Elementary, Dr. FD Sinclair Elementary and Westerman Elementary are a few of the primary schools located in or near the West Newton community. Students enjoy excellent education options along with a number of extracurricular activities and groups. Teachers, staff and parents strive to ensure students are provided with a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Tamanawis Secondary, Panorama Ridge Secondary and Princess Margaret Secondary are few of the high schools that serve students from grade nine through twelve who reside in the West Newton area. There students are able to join many sports teams, clubs, councils and more. A range of classes, programs and courses are available as well. The schools provide additional support and more to guide students as they transition out of the public school system.
