The community is a vibrant and historically relevant area in the greater Vancouver area. There are also a handful of neighbourhood and community parks set throughout the Sullivan Station neighbourhood that feature playground equipment, greenspace, picnic areas, multi use sports fields and walking trails. Some of the parks include Sullivan Park Ball Diamonds, Goldstone Park, Panorama Village Park and Springwood Forest Park.
These parks contain wonderful walking paths, sporting fields and outdoor activities. They provide a good family destination if the outdoors is your passion.

Sullivan Station schools are operated and administered by the Surrey Public School District. The district is one of the largest and fast growing school administrations in the province of British Columbia. Well rated schools and quality education are available in a number of locations around the Sullivan Station community.
Cambridge Elementary School is located on 150 St. and provides education for students from kindergarten through grade 7. Opening its doors in 2006, Cambridge Elementary underwent expansion to respond to the growing community in 2011. Currently there are approximately 770 students that attend the school.
Sullivan Elementary School is on 152 Street and also offers education for kindergarten to grade seven. A smaller school, Sullivan Elementary, located in Sullivan Heights, has just under 300 students throughout the academic year.
Sullivan Heights Secondary School is 144 St. and welcomes students from grade eight through grade twelve. Founded in 2000, Sullivan Heights offers its students a wide range of programs including dance, cooking, tourism, electronics, information technology, and drafting among many others.
Also located in the Sullivan Station area is The Biggest Little Preschool, Ecole Woodward Hill Elementary, Cherry Lane Preschool and Regent Christian Academy.
