Located in the Town Centre of Guildford is the residential neighbourhood of Port Kells. Adjacent to the beautiful Fraser River, Port Kells falls within the northeastern section of the Town Centre. Residents of the community enjoy the scenery of the nearby Fraser River, quiet and safe streets and a tight knit neighborhood.

Homes for sale in Port Kells are generally single family detached homes set atop spacious lots allowing for additional privacy. Typically homes for sale in Port Kells offer between 2 and 5 bedrooms and 2 and 4 bathrooms. Many of the homes have attached single or double car garages with a number offering additional sheds or shops.

Prices for properties listed in Port Kells range between the mid to upper $800K’s and 5 million mark. Prices are greatly influenced by size and style or home as well as overall size of lot.

Port Kells is an ideal community for buyers looking for a decent amount of land while remaining close to the amenities offered in the city. Though residents may feel relatively secluded on their large chunk of property, they are actually a short distance from many shops, stores, services, restaurants and schools.

For residents who frequently travel around Surrey or surrounding cities and towns, the community is ideally located near many of the major roadways that run through the city. The Trans Canada Highway, Golden Ears Way and Pacific Highway surround Port Kells providing quick and easy access to many areas.

Following to the west of the Pacific Highway, residents of Port Kells can quickly access Tynehead Ecological Park. This large regional park is home to the Serpentine River which meanders through its ample greenspace. Visitors can enjoy the many paths and trails, dog park area and plenty of open areas for picnics and more.

Shopping and dining options are readily available to those residing in Port Kells with many choices being accessible just down the Trans Canada Highway. There are plenty more stores, diners and services that can be reached by heading south on 200 St.

Port Kells, Surrey, School Information

Port Kells is located within the Surrey School District which provides students in Surrey, White Rock and the rural portions of Barnston Island education from kindergarten through grade 12. The well rated school district is home to approximately 125 schools and is one of the only districts currently experiences substantial growth. Surrey Schools is also the largest district in the province.
