Fleetwood Tynehead area schools include Woodland Park Elementary, Frost Road Elementary, Fleetwood Park Elementary, Coyote Creek, Green Timbers Elementary and William Watson Elementary which welcome students from pre-kindergarten through the eight grade.

Secondary Schools in the Fleetwood Tynehead area are Enver Creek Secondary and Fleetwood Park Secondary. Students attend from grade nine through grade twelve.

The community is also home to private or faith based schools as well. The Fleetwood campus of the Surrey Christian School and its secondary school campus are both located in the neighborhood as is Holy Cross Regional High School.
