Elgin Chantrell falls under the Surrey School District which is the largest in the province and serves the Surrey and White Rock communities. The district provides education for students from kindergarten through grade twelve among the many schools it administers.

Chantrell Creek Elementary School is situated in the heart of the community and welcomes students from kindergarten through grade seven. There are over 390 students that attend the primary school located at 137 Street.

Crescent Park Elementary School is also located in the community near the western border and is home to students in kindergarten to grade seven. Home to around 300 students, Crescent Park Elementary provides french immersion opportunities.

Semiahmoo Elementary is set along the northern border of the Elgin Chantrell neighborhood and, like other elementary schools, welcomes students for kindergarten to grade seven. The school enjoys a natural setting and is home to nearly 400 students throughout the academic year.

Elgin Park Secondary School is set in the south section of Elgin Chantrell and provides education options for students from grade eight through grade twelve. There are approximately 1,400 students that attend yearly. The school boasts a graduation rate of 98.9% and offers students a range of courses, programs, advanced placement classes, extracurriculars and more.
