Cloverdale is a Town Centre located in the growing and thriving city of Surrey, B.C. Nestled in the eastern portion, Cloverdale falls just west of Langley. The area is bounded in the west by 160th Street, south by 48th Avenue, east by Langley and north by Town Centres, Guildford and Fleetwood.

Cloverdale is Surrey’s 3rd largest community in Surrey and offers a mix of both new and historic areas. Featuring on the city’s most recognizable “main streets”, Cloverdale has held on to its historic charm, being steeped in history while simultaneously looking towards the future.

Located in the lower Fraser Valley area, Cloverdale’s real estate landscape is made up of mainly single family homes. Prices for houses for sale in Cloverdale range from the low $700K’s and can climb up to $6 million dollars for estate style properties featuring acreage.

The Cloverdale Rodeo has been a staple event in the Town Centre since it first began in 1945. Visitors from all over come to experience the fun and events that happen during the rodeo.

There are many opportunities for recreation, activities and art and culture. The Cloverdale Recreation Center, Don Christian Recreation Center, Cloverdale Arena and Cloverdale Public Art Gallery host various events throughout the year and provide classes, programs and more to be taken advantage of. Soon to be opened in Cloverdale is the Clayton Community Centre which will provide further recreation.

Parks are nestled through the Town Centre and provide scenic areas, play equipment and sports fields. Hazelgrove Park, Hi-Knoll Park and Cloverdale Athletic Park are all located in Cloverdale.

Cloverdale, Surrey, School Information

Schools within the Cloverdale Town Centre are administered and operated by the Surrey School District. There are a number of schools throughout the neighborhoods that provide quality education, ample extracurriculars and a safe learning environment.

A.J. McLellan Elementary, Surrey Centre Elementary, George Greenaway Elementary, Martha Currie Elementary and Cloverdale Traditional Elementary are all located within Cloverdale boundaries and provide education for students from kindergarten through grade eight.

There is one secondary school within the area, Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School. Students from Cloverdale are welcomed for education from grades nine through twelve. A wide range of courses, programs, classes and more are offered as well as extracurriculars to provide a well rounded education.

Families interested in faith based education have a number of different options to choose from. Cloverdale Catholic School, Surrey Christian School Cloverdale Campus and William of Orange Christian School are located in the Cloverdale area.
